PNOY's SONA 2012

The 3rd State of the Nation Address (SONA) for the year 2012 of Pres. Benigno C. Aquino III was delivered on July 23, 2012 at the Session Hall of the House of Representatives Batasan Pambansa Complex.

             Pres. Aquino used Filipino language or the Tagalog dialect from the start to the end of his SONA. His use of the Filipino language in delivering his SONA made people who watched and listened to understand better of what he wanted to convey to the people.
             On the first part of Pres. Aquino's SONA, he again reiterated the use of "WANG-WANG." Like his two (2) past SONA, Pres. Aquino described the use of "WANG-WANG" to the system of government and behavior of officials of the past administration which he continues to criticize. In the succeeding parts, Pres. Aquino mentioned all his accomplishments and positive plans in the coming days. One of them is the purchase of modern equipments for the AFP, PNP, and DOJ. But previous purchase of equipments has brought different reactions to some because the quality of equipment was of poor quality.
            He also announced that his Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program and PhilHealth has already benefitted million of families and launched another program, the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) which aims to help Filipinos reduce poverty. Despite of all these “poverty reduction program” of the government, people are not yet satisfied, because the government should think of a better and more guaranteed lifetime solution to reduce the poverty problem of Filipino people.
            At the end of his SONA, Pnoy wanted the people to thank everyone doing such good things to his fellow.
            To conclude the PNOY SONA 2012, it is very positive in nature and hopeful that everything mentioned will materialize and continue to benefit and uplift the life if Filipino people.
